Job summary

Cpl is seeking a senior leader to head the PRC and STE teams, ensuring delivery against budgets and customer expectations while maintaining ISO 17065 compliance. The role requires oversight of a robust QMS and active engagement with regulators and industry bodies.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage cross-functional relationships, and travel internationally to support clients and exhibitions. Strong leadership and strategic vision are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong operational management with KPI/targets accountability.
• Technical knowledge of certification activities and regulatory requirements.
• Strong commercial awareness incl. budgets and forecasts.
• Business development and customer relationship skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Certification teams to achieve growth in revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage departmental performance against budgets and KPIs.
• Own departmental financial performance including forecasting and month-end reporting.
• Collaborate on strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Foster a culture focused on productivity, accountability, quality, and customer service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the department.
• Develop team capability through performance management and coaching.
• Ensure resource planning meets customer demands and business objectives.
• Build relationships with customers, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
• Represent the company in presentations, webinars, and industry events.
• Travel regularly between UK and Ireland offices and internationally as required.
