Job summary

The Panel is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead a Dublin-based non-life insurance intermediary through authorisation and into launch. You will oversee underwriting, financial control, and regulatory engagement in a hands-on leadership role, shaping a technology-enabled, commercially focused insurance proposition.

The role requires a senior insurance executive capable of navigating Central Bank processes, with a track record of regulatory credibility and strong operational judgement.

Qualifications

• Proven senior experience in commercial non-life insurance.
• Experience with MGA or delegated underwriting authority is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regulated insurance environments.
• Ability to lead interactions with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Experience supporting or leading an insurance business through authorisation or registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business through the Central Bank of Ireland authorisation process.
• Support readiness for registration as an insurance intermediary.
• Act as the named responsible individual for insurance distribution.
• Manage ongoing regulatory relationships with confidence and clarity.
• Oversee day-to-day leadership of the business, including underwriting activity and financial control.
• Help shape and launch the company’s commercial product offering, including SME and technology startup insurance packages.
