Job summary

Cocoon Childcare in Tallaght, Dublin is recruiting a Centre Manager to lead our early years team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of care and education, and work in partnership with parents to place the child at the heart of everything we do.

The ideal candidate will hold QQI Level 6 in childcare (Level 7/8 preferred), have creche management experience, and be a strong communicator who can motivate staff, meet targets, and maintain a safe, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 in childcare (Level 7/8 preferable).
• Experience in creche management is an advantage.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Self-motivation and ability to meet targets and deadlines.
• Knowledge of Aistear Framework and Siolta Standards.
• Knowledge of child-led/Emergent curriculum and documenting the curriculum.
• Ability to work in partnership with parents and staff, keeping the child at the heart of what we do.
• Team player.
• Ensure a safe, secure and healthy environment for children, staff and visitors to the centre.
• Strong communication skills.
• Computer literate.

What we require from candidates:

• Have a minimum of QQI Level 6 in childcare, Level 7 or 8 preferable
