Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Business Development Manager for Central and Eastern Europe with a focus on the public sector. Based in Ireland, you will identify opportunities, lead tender processes, and drive first-time and long-term contracts across ministries and government bodies.

You will build a robust pipeline, coordinate cross-functional bid teams, and shape proposals that address complex public-sector needs while working remotely across European time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in business development or sales within software/public sector environments.
• Proven success selling complex software solutions to public-sector organizations in the EU.
• Experience winning public tenders and managing procurement processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional bid teams and coordinating stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies across Central and Eastern Europe, focusing on public sector.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new opportunities with ministries and government agencies.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline and pursue long-term growth.
• Present and sell digital identity and verifiable credentials solutions to clients.
• Lead tender processes, bid teams, and align proposals with senior leadership.
• Develop partnerships with implementation and technology partners to support delivery.
