Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a CCTV Operator to join a professional security team at a large venue. You will protect visitors and the building, ensure clear information flow, and respond to incidents using CCTV and associated systems.

The role requires a PSA CCTV/Door Supervisor license, ACT Awareness, and SCaN certification, with a focus on risk assessment, incident logging, and emergency procedures. ROI work rights needed.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in ROI.
• CCTV operator role requires PSA CCTV / Door Supervisor license.
• ACT Awareness certification preferred.
• SCaN for CCTV Operators certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clear, accurate communication of all relevant information.
• Follow incident escalation process; maintain operator running logs.
• Effectively deploy security resources to handle incidents.
• Operate CCTV system and related systems (fire alarm, PA, VMS, BMS, ANPR, radio, phones).
• Implement emergency procedures per Incident and Emergency Plan.
• Document complaints and incidents accurately and professionally.

About The Role:

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a CCTV Operator.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our highly trained, professional security team within a large Venue. You will be responsible for the protection, security and safety of visitors and the building.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure that there is clear, accurate communication and transmission of all relevant information.
• Ensure the correct escalation of incidents is followed in line with the incident escalation process; running logs are maintained in the Operators running logs.
• Effectively deploy security resources to deal with all incidents and matters arising.
• Proactive operation of the CCTV System; conducting daily site activity risk assessments, maintaining accurate CCTV records. Operation of the fire alarm system, PA system, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio and phone systems.
• Implementation of the emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
• Thoroughly, accurately, and professionally documents complaints, incidents involving possible criminal activity and other daily activities.
