Job summary

Aramark Ireland is seeking a dedicated Catering Assistant to support the catering team in delivering a high standard of food service while upholding hygiene, safety and customer service standards.

You'll assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining clean and safe dining areas, working closely with chefs and staff in a busy environment. Flexible start times and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy catering environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, serving and presentation of food and beverages.
• Set up and clear dining areas, service areas and catering facilities.
• Serve meals and refreshments to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Wash and clean kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and work areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
• Follow food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Store food and catering supplies correctly and safely.
• Assist with stock rotation and checking deliveries where required.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work closely with chefs, catering staff and other team members.
• Provide helpful and courteous service to customers.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required by the Catering Manager.
