Job summary

Aramark Ireland in Athlone is seeking a catering assistant to support restaurant services for a large multinational medical device company. You’ll work with front-of-house, kitchen, tills and deli counter in a busy, customer-facing environment.

This part-time role runs weekdays with an hourly rate of €14.15, full training provided, uniforms and staff meals, and opportunities to advance within the company. You should have hospitality experience, strong time management, food hygiene knowledge, and

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or catering preferred
• Strong time-management skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP is preferred

• Support front-of-house and kitchen operations, including tills and deli counter
• Provide friendly, efficient service and maintain high service standards

Job description

As a catering assistant with our team here in Cornamaddy, Athlone, you will be helping us deliver our catering services to those working for a large multinational medical device company. This position will be very rewarding for the right candidate, helping deliver restaurant services in a positive and engaging environment. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using our restaurants, and we aim to improve each customer's day through our interactions.

Part-time Position Monday to Friday)

You must have:

• Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced catering business is preferred
• A Strong background in hospitality or catering
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene, including HACCP, is preferred
• A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude
