Job summary

CareChoice is recruiting a Part-Time Catering Assistant for Elm Hall Nursing Home. Join a leading Irish residential home with a supportive team. The role involves meal service, dishwashing, setting tables, and maintaining HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet timelines for crockery and condiments ready for mealtimes.
• Load dishwasher after serving on all floors.
• Set tables for lunches and teatime on all floors.
• Transfer trolleys to and from the kitchen promptly.
• Clean trolleys before and after serving.
• Stock check on all floors after each service.
• Assist service and cleaning on all floors as required.
• Ensure serving and eating areas are clean.
• Adhere to safe storage and use of food and cleaning products.
• Comply with HACCP guidelines as directed by Head Chef.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned to a high standard.
• Minimise waste and rotate tasks as needed.

We are currently recruiting Part-Time Catering Assistant, in Elm Hall Nursing Home Nursing home.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Meeting agreed on timelines in ensuring all crockery, utensils and condiments are collected, washed and available on time for mealtimes.
• Load dishwasher after each serving on all floors, unloading once complete
• Set tables for lunches and teatime on all floors at agreed times
• Transfer trolleys to and from the kitchen in a timely manner inline with service needs
• Clean trolleys before and after each serving
• Stock check on all floors after each serving
• Assist service and cleaning on all floors as required
• Ensuring all serving and eating areas are clean
• Adherence to the safe storage and use of all food and cleaning products
• Compliance with HACCP guidelines as directed by the Head Chef ensuring all work practices are in line with regulations
• Ensure all the equipment is cleaned to a high standard as directed
• Ensuring waste is to a minimum
• Rotate where necessary to meet the catering demands of the role as directed.
