The Rehab Group in Ireland seeks a Care Worker on a fixed term contract (6 months, 35 hours per week) at Brookside Lodge, Killaloe, Co Clare, to provide personal care in a high-support residential setting.

You will hold QQI Level 5 in Social Care (or equivalent), work in a team, protect privacy, and hold a Full Clean Driver's Licence. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and pro-rata salary.

Job Purpose

To provide a personal care service to individuals with Intellectual Disability and Mental Health Difficulties within a high support residential service setting, in an environment which values and respects the individual, fosters a positive behavioral support approach to supporting people with challenging behaviors and an environment that fosters community based living, personal development and social inclusion

What We’re Looking For

• To be able to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of service users at all times.

Your Responsibilities

• Promote and actively get involved in teamwork, creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the service user.
• Facilitate and implement a person centered service appropriate to the needs, wishes and requirements of service users.
• Ensure that all interactions with service users are approached with dignity, respect and equality and incorporating choice

Salary starting from point 1 € 31,261.64 to point 11 € 4 3,730.75 (pro rata), is subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
