Job summary

  • Contribute to assessment and treatment interventions for young people aged 12-17 years with a range of mental health difficulties and neurodiverse needs.
  • Act as a Care Manager, supporting the clinical team to triangulate care across all relevant stakeholders.

Job description

The Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Skye House team within an inpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). This is a vital role within a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and young people experiencing acute mental health difficulties. The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and reflective team that values professional development, staff wellbeing and collaborative working. This post offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and their families. The post holder will bring strong leadership and clinical expertise to the team, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care. All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern

Fixed-term, Various hours available

1x Full-time post 36 hours, 1x Part-time post 14.4 hours

Shift pattern - Full-time post: Monday- Friday 09:00 am- 5:00 pm; Part-time post: Tuesday and Thursday 09.00 am 5:00 pm

Base location - Stobhill Hospital - Skye House AIPU

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
