Job summary

Sunbeam House Services in Arklow is seeking caring Care Assistants to join a new respite service. You will support individuals with daily living, personal care, activities and wellbeing in a safe, person-centred environment.

We value warmth, commitment and teamwork. A QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent is required, along with a driving licence and a flexible, positive attitude. This is a permanent full-time role in Arklow.

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Health Service Skills, or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for supporting people with intellectual disabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A flexible, positive and person-centred approach.

We are looking for caring, compassionate and motivated Care Assistants to join our new Respite Service in Arklow. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a welcoming team supporting people with intellectual disabilities to enjoy meaningful, high-quality short breaks in a safe and person-centred environment.

In this role, you will help create positive experiences, support independence, and promote dignity, choice and wellbeing in everyday life.
