Job summary

Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking a Capital Projects Coordinator to join the Asset Management & Property Services team in a hybrid role based in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15. You will manage capital projects, coordinate energy retrofit works and fire safety assessments, and ensure alignment with governance and funding requirements.

The role requires a Level 8 or Level 6 qualification with relevant experience, plus 5+ years in construction or asset management and a full UK/EU driving licence

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 8 in project management or related field or NFQ Level 6 with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, property, asset management, capital works or project coordination.
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, surveys, inspections or capital works programmes.
• Experience preparing project reports, trackers or governance documentation.
• Full, clean Class B EU driver’s licence and access to a car for travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of capital projects within AMPS, focusing on defects remediation, fire safety and energy retrofit programmes.
• Ensure projects meet governance, funding, and stakeholder requirements; align with asset management priorities.
• Support multi-unit developments under remediation schemes and coordinate related assessments and reports.
• Coordinate Fire Safety Risk Assessments, surveys and intrusive investigations as required.
• Maintain oversight of actions from consultant reports, risk assessments and funding scheme requirements.
• Coordinate energy retrofit projects in line with ESG strategy and funding opportunities.
• Assist in preparation of briefs, tender information, appointment documentation and consultant instructions.
• Liaise with internal teams to support effective project delivery and financial reporting.
