Job summary

Sheraton Athlone Hotel in Athlone, Ireland, invites applications for a Cafe Supervisor at Harvest Homemade Cafe. You will lead and develop a small cafe team, ensuring outstanding guest service, cleanliness, and sales opportunities. Flexible weekdays and weekends, 30 hours or more per week, throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a food & beverage or cafe environment (preferred).
• Genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong leadership and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and a positive, approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate cafe team members to deliver consistently high standards of service.
• Ensure the cafe is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Maximise sales opportunities and contribute to the cafe's success.
• Uphold all hotel policies, including HACCP and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike.
