Job summary

The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is seeking a Café Supervisor to lead the Harvest Homemade Café and support the management team in day-to-day operations. The role involves guiding a café team, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment with flexible hours across weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a food and beverage or café environment (preferred).
• passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate café team members to deliver consistently high standards of service.
• Ensure the café is presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Maximise sales opportunities and contribute to the café’s success.
• Uphold all hotel policies, including HACCP and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues alike.
