Job summary

Stryker in Cork, Ireland (hybrid) seeks an Engineering Manager, CAE/Design Engineering to lead a global, multidisciplinary team that enables New Product Development through simulation and CAD capabilities. The role combines people leadership with hands-on delivery of engineering excellence across CAE, eCAD, and mCAD, including process standardization and tool adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
Master’s degree preferred.
8+ years of engineering experience in medical device development or new product development.
2+ years of experience leading teams or engineering organizations.
Experience supporting regulated product development environments.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical outcomes to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop CAE, eCAD, and mCAD teams to support Business priorities and NPD objectives.
Develop capability roadmaps for Simulation & Design Engineering services.
Lead workforce planning and capability development activities.
Drive improvements to quality, speed, predictability, and customer experience.
Establish KPIs and monitor performance to inform decisions.
Promote new tools, methodologies, and scalable processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate engineering capabilities into business value.
