Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Cork, Ireland, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead and develop the CAE, eCAD, and mCAD teams, aligning capability roadmaps with NPD goals. You will manage global engineering programs, partner with R&D and operations, and drive measurable improvements in quality and speed.

The role requires 8+ years in medical device engineering, 2+ years of leadership, and a proven ability to translate complex simulations into business value. Hybrid work is available with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years of engineering experience in medical device development or new product development.
• 2+ years of experience leading teams, technical programs, or engineering organizations.
• Experience supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience supporting new product development through simulation, engineering design, CAD, or Simulation & Design Engineering capabilities.
• Experience working within regulated product development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and balance business needs across multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across functions and communicate technical outcomes to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the CAE, eCAD, and mCAD teams to support business priorities and New Product Development objectives.
• Support the development and execution of capability roadmaps that strengthen Simulation & Design Engineering services and expertise.
• Lead operational planning, workforce planning, and capability development activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, speed, predictability, and customer experience.
• Establish, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators that demonstrate value and support informed decision-making.
