Job summary

INIT Innovations in Transportation Ltd. Maynooth, Ireland, is seeking a software developer to join a global team focused on public transport software.

You will design and implement modules for fare management, payments, and customer administration, integrate external portals, and collaborate with teams in Karlsruhe and Seattle.

The role requires a technical degree, 3 years of OO development with .NET Framework & .NET 8+, Azure, Angular, and strong English; a hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

Your Responsibilities:

• You will be part of our software development teams analyzing, designing and implementing of innovative solutions for public transport
• Within our international projects, you will be primarily responsible for developing and refining software modules for fare management, accounting for payment transactions and customer administration
• You will work on the integration of external software, web portals as well as online payment systems (smart card, credit card, mobile payment)
• You will analyze multi-layered, technical functions for a better understanding of the "use cases" of our system users and thus, a targeted implementation of the requirements
• You work in close cooperation with our software teams in Karlsruhe, Germany as well as Seattle, USA and international customers

Your profile:

• University degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on experience in object-oriented software development (e.g. .Net Framework & .Net 8+) and knowledge of relational databases
• Cloud Native development with Azure, Frontend Frameworks such as Angular, CI experience beneficial
• Very good communication skills and sense of responsibility
• Team spirit as well as motivation to work in an international environment
• Willingness to travel occasionally (mainly to the HQ in Karlsruhe, Germany)
• Proficient in written and spoken English, further language skills would be a plus
• We offer a hybrid working model
