Job summary

U.P.PRO SCM Ireland Ltd. is seeking a Buyer/Planner to manage inventory levels, coordinate with customers, and drive on-time purchasing and receipt processes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and internal teams. The incumbent will review daily inventory status, update catalogs, and implement recovery plans for high-risk stock, while ensuring optimal stock levels across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Requires a business degree or equivalent.
• Three years of purchasing or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with KPI-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Agree on inventory levels with customers and update catalogs.
• Monitor high-risk inventory and develop recovery plans.
• Optimize inventory levels via internal network of buyers and planners.
• Handle procurement from PO to receipt and resolve related issues.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and ensure on-time delivery.

Reporting to the Site lead, the Buyer/Planner position in U.P.PRO SCM Ireland Ltd

Inventory Management

• Agree with the customer of the inventory levels which will be required
• Update catalog with the inventory levels
• Review the daily status of inventory at high risk for shortage and provide recovery plans
• Achieve inventory levels optimization by utilizing the internal network of buyers and planners to reduce excess inventory per need
• Resolution of any issue with stocked (warehoused) material
• Disposition and removal of inventory with low consumption, as required by the customer

Purchasing

• Perform to KPIs
• Purchasing decision making and PO placement
• Assurance of supplier acknowledgment to PO terms
• On-time delivery management
• Resolution of any issue that may occur from PO until receipt
• Reconciling accounts

Requirements

Education

• Business degree or equivalent

Experience

• Three years of purchasing or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant field/position
• Background in indicator-driven work environment (KPIs)
