Job summary

PE Global in Ireland is seeking a Supply Network Planner to join our team. You will collaborate with Local & European counterparts, participate in IBP, and manage demand planning across the product lifecycle in the EMEA region.

Responsibilities include optimizing forecasts, maintaining data integrity, and performing what-if analyses to support inventory strategies and KPI targets. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in planning or similar logistics role.
  • Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory control, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with DRP planning tools and SAP/APO experience.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Local & European counterparts (Marketing Intelligence, Sales, Supply Planners, Demand Manager).
  • Participate in the IBP process focusing on demand vs business plan alignment.
  • Manage demand planning exceptions and forecast bias.
  • Oversee demand planning in product lifecycle (new, end of life, phase-in/phase-out).
  • Gather Market Intelligence to inform the demand plan and optimize forecasts.
  • Maintain data integrity in the demand planning system and perform what-if analyses.

Job description

As a Supply Network Planner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will:

  • Collaborate with Local & European counterparts (i.e. Marketing Intelligence Analysts / Sales & Marketing / Supply Planners / Demand Manager)
  • Participate in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with a particular focus on the alignment between the demand plan and the business plan (OP/QOR)
  • Manage demand planning exceptions related to out of control demand, forecast bias, unusual month to date demand
  • Manage the demand planning aspects of the product life cycle (new products, end of life, and phase-in & phase-out)
  • Gather and apply Market Intelligence to the demand plan.
  • Optimize statistical forecast in Demand Planning tool
  • Leverage forecast performance metrics tools to measure accuracy and take actions accordingly
  • Maintain data integrity in the demand planning system
  • Forecasting Finished goods for EMEA
  • Performing what-if simulations and analysis on Forecasts
  • Responsible for project management initiatives
  • Support the Supply and Production Planning organization through key inputs for development of inventory strategies
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, you require (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Experience in planning or similar logistics role
  • Knowledge of Supply chain principles and inventory control, planning systems, forecasting techniques and statistics
  • Knowledge of demand and DRP planning tools as well as SAP / APO experience
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
