Job summary

Celtic Careers in Dublin is seeking an experienced Buyer or Inventory Planner with 2-3 years in purchasing, stock management or supply chain to manage a defined supplier portfolio and keep stock available while controlling inventory levels.

You will forecast demand, place POs, monitor stock, lead times and supplier performance, collaborate with international teams, support sales, and generate reporting—driving efficient procurement and reducing excess stock.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years' experience in buying, purchasing, inventory or stock management.
• Hands-on experience with forecasting and purchase orders.
• Experience managing supplier relationships.
• Experience working with international suppliers / supply chains.
• Asian / Chinese supplier experience highly desirable.
• Strong Excel skills Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• SAP Business One experience desirable.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Commercial, proactive and solution-focused approach.

Buyer / Inventory Planner Dublin | €38,000 | Permanent

Are you an experienced Buyer or Inventory Planner with 2 to 3 years' experience in purchasing, stock management or supply chain? Our client is looking for a commercially aware and organised Buyer to join their Purchasing team, managing a defined supplier portfolio and ensuring stock is available when required while controlling inventory levels.
