Job summary

Kylemore Cars is Ireland’s leading independent used car dealership with 800+ cars in stock. A Business Manager role has become available to develop consumer finance opportunities, deliver an excellent customer experience and support sales/finance performance.

Reporting to the Head of Sales Performance, you will work with the Sales team to offer suitable finance solutions, complete transactions efficiently, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate customer records and deal documentation per procedures.

Kylemore Cars is Ireland’s leading Independent Used Car Dealership, with 800+ cars in stock. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Business Manager to join our high performing team. Reporting to the Head of Sales Performance, the role of the Business Manager is to manage and develop consumer finance opportunities, deliver an excellent customer experience and support the achievement of our sales and finance performance objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with our Sales Department to ensure customers receive appropriate finance solutions, with all transactions completed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the customer finance journey from initial discussion through to finance completion ensuring a professional and customer-focused experience.
• Present and explain available vehicle finance options, repayment structures and approved ancillary products, helping customers make informed decisions.
• Prepare finance quotations, support customer applications and ensure proposals are progressed efficiently within the Consumer Finance Department and approved finance providers.
• Work closely with Sales Executives & Sales Managers to identify finance opportunities, improve finance penetration and support the achievement of departmental targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication, timely follow-up and effective management of customer expectations.
• Ensure finance applications, customer records and deal documentation are accurate, complete and maintained in line with Company procedures.
• Monitor individual performance against agreed targets and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and customer outcomes.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality and regulatory compliance, operating within the Company's delegated authority and escalating issues where appropriate.

Required Skills

• Previous experience in consumer finance, sales, financial services or a similar customer-facing commercial role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
• A commercially driven mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and maximising opportunities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple customer transactions in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional and proactive approach, with a strong commitment to customer service, accuracy and compliance.

Education & Experience

• Previous experience as a Business Manager within the motor industry is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in consumer finance, finance applications and working with finance providers is desirable.
• Relevant consumer finance qualifications and regulatory competency are advantageous.
• The successful candidate must hold the qualifications and authorisations required for the regulated activities undertaken.
