Magnus Monitors is a Galway-based technology company developing innovative IoT monitoring solutions for customers across Ireland, the UK and international markets.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager to help develop new B2B opportunities in Ireland and European markets.
This is a hands-on business development role focused primarily on winning new customers and developing new commercial opportunities.
You will identify and engage prospective customers, understand their business requirements, present relevant Magnus solutions and manage opportunities through to commercial agreement. The role will also involve developing relationships with potential commercial and channel partners where appropriate and helping Magnus establish a stronger presence within new markets. You will work closely with the wider Magnus team and take ownership of developing a healthy sales pipeline and delivering agreed new-business targets.
Regular customer and industry travel within Ireland and Europe will form part of the role.
Experience selling technology, IoT, industrial products or other business solutions would be an advantage.
Experience developing business outside Ireland, or proficiency in another European language, would also be beneficial.
Detailed targets and performance measures will be agreed with the successful candidate.
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Ireland, combining field-based customer activity, home working and attendance at our Galway headquarters.
The role offers a competitive base salary together with a performance-related commission structure with uncapped earning potential.
