Job summary

MCS Group is seeking a Business Analyst to join the IT function in Dublin on a day-rate contract. The role focuses on reviewing ITIL processes, gathering requirements and improving how technology services are delivered across the business.

Day Rate Contract

I'm working with a leading professional services firm in Dublin who are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (ITIL) to join their IT function on a day rate contract.

This role will sit within IT Operations and focus on reviewing current processes, gathering requirements and helping improve how technology services are delivered across the business.

It is a hybrid role running for an initial 12 month period.

The role:

• Gathering and documenting business and technical requirements
• Reviewing current ITIL processes and identifying areas for improvement
• Running workshops with key stakeholders
• Mapping current and future state processes
• Supporting service management and technology change initiatives
• Working closely with IT Operations, Infrastructure and Security teams

Requirements:

• Strong Business Analyst experience within IT
• Good understanding of ITIL / IT Service Management
• Experience with process mapping and improvement
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements
• Professional services or legal sector experience would be a bonus
