Job summary

Amey Ltd is hiring a permanent Bridge Engineer to join our Consulting Structures team in Dublin. You will support the Design Team Leader on diverse structures schemes, lead projects, and mentor junior engineers.

Located in Dublin, you will work within a vibrant team of engineers and professionals delivering infrastructure priorities for Ireland. We value safety, collaboration and innovation, offering flexible working options and a modern workspace at The Freight Building in Docklands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject, or demonstrable equivalent.
• Chartered status with the ICE or IStructE is desirable and may be essential on certain contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team, delivering technically sound engineering solutions.
• Own and drive projects from quotation through to handover.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and deliverables to meet quality, cost and schedule.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians and oversee their workload.
• Coordinate with clients and suppliers and participate in progress meetings.
• Drive health and safety practices within the team.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject
