Job summary

Uniting Holding is seeking a skilled Bridge Design Engineer for a permanent position based in Dublin or Cork. With three to seven years of relevant experience, you will join the bridge and civil-structural engineering team to deliver exceptional projects.

Your role includes collaboration in early project phases, executing detailed designs, and interfacing with clients and contractors. Candidates should have an honours degree in civil engineering and a strong work ethic. Good knowledge of structural analysis software is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in detailed design of bridges.
• Ability to undertake construction stage and finite element analysis.
• Experience of written and in-person interaction with external parties.

Responsibilities

• Work with existing and new bridge and civil structures across a range of materials.
• Participate in early project stages, including scoping and design.
• Undertake preliminary and detailed design work, including structural analytical modelling.

Skills

Bridge structure analytical modelling
