Job summary

Grand Hotel Malahide in Ireland is seeking a Full-Time Breakfast Chef Assistant to join our Kitchen team. You will work with the Breakfast Chef to prepare and present breakfast items and keep the buffet replenished.

We value a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hotel kitchen, good hygiene, teamwork and a positive hospitality mindset, and you should be available for early morning shifts. Meals on duty and staff benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar kitchen or breakfast service role.
• Experience with a breakfast buffet is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and food safety standards.
• Positive attitude and hospitality focus.
• Flexible and able to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with breakfast preparation and food production.
• Prepare and replenish items for the breakfast buffet.
• Meet and greet guests during breakfast service.
• Ensure buffet area is clean and well-presented.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Assist with cleaning duties and proper storage of food.
