Sherry FitzGerald Limited in Cork is seeking a Branch Manager to deliver the business strategy for the Cork branch, grow turnover, and lead a high-performing team of property professionals. You will develop a branch plan, win new business, maintain deep client relationships, coach staff, and collaborate with New Homes, Financial Services and Franchise Principals to maximise revenue.

The role requires PSRA licence and 2-3 years’ managerial experience, plus a full clean driver’s licence and access

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the business strategy for your branch by achieving goals and growing turnover.
  • Grow profitability through effective cost management and KPI delivery.
  • Be an effective member of the Regional Management Team shaping the Residential property strategy.
  • Produce a business development plan identifying opportunities and recommendations.
  • Win business for the branch and expand the fee base.
  • Lead the branch to deliver high performance, savings, and people development.
  • Develop new business opportunities through relationships, networking and marketing.
  • Collaborate with Branch Directors/Managers, New Homes, Financial Services, and Franchise Principals.
  • Coach and develop the team to meet objectives and career goals.
  • Work with HR and the Regional Director on people solutions and resourcing.
  • Ensure staff are trained and act as professional property consultants.
  • Lead 2-way communication within the branch on priorities and developments.
  • Retain and recognise staff, motivating and developing the team.
  • Deliver a positive customer service experience for vendors and buyers.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering the business strategy for your branch by achieving business goals, growing turnover, increasing profitability through effective cost management.
  • Be an effective team member of the Regional Management Team contributing to the development of the overall Residential property business strategy (Second hand market; New Homes; Lettings), while supporting each other in the achievement of KPIs.
  • Produce a business development plan for your branch which identifies potential opportunities and specific recommendations that should be pursued.
  • Win business for the branch, improving the depth & quality of the existing fee base, target and win critical instructions in line with our strategy to grow turnover.
  • Build alignment and commitment across your branch that focuses everyone on delivering the business priorities, while working together to win business instructions.
  • Lead your branch to deliver consistent, high standards of performance focused on optimising sales, driving efficiencies and developing our people.
  • Actively develop new business opportunities through relationships, networking and marketing activities to enhance our brand and reputation in your area and community.
  • Develop & maintain good working relationships with other Branch Directors/Managers, New Homes, Financial Services and Franchise Principals in your area to ensure synergies and referrals are optimised increasing company revenue.
  • Manage the performance of your team, coaching & developing them to achieve their objectives and career goals while optimising their productivity and performance.
  • Work with HR and your Regional Director to develop solutions for any people issues, while ensuring a positive work environment.
  • Ensure that all your employees are well trained and capable property professionals and work with HR to fulfil any resourcing needs in line with our recruitment process.
  • Lead effective, engaging 2-way communication within your branch on a regular basis, ensuring everyone is fully informed of key priorities and business developments.
  • Retain and develop employees, leveraging strengths, motivating, empowering & supporting your team through effective communication, motivation, recognition & personalised development.
  • Deliver a positive customer service experience for all vendors, buyers and potential buyers dealing with your branch, from calls to viewings, qualifying needs, following through on commitments and championing customer needs across the network to increase vendor and buyer satisfaction, leading to recommendations & repeat business.
  • Develop a culture where everyone in the branch lives the Company Values at all times and is encouraged to give feedback & recognise others, share learnings and innovate.
The successful candidate will:
  • Currently hold a PSRA licence.
  • Have 2 - 3 years’ experience at manager level.
  • Have an ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines essential.
  • Be self-motivated, confident, and able to work in a fast paced, high energy environment.
  • Be driven and have a proven ability to win business and to introduce new business opportunities.
  • Have a proven ability to work as part of a team and developing teams.
  • Have strong communication, customer service and organisational skills.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the Residential Property Market.
  • Have a full clean driver’s licence and access to a car.
