Job summary

Matrix Recruitment Group is assisting a well established manufacturing client in Waterford City to recruit a Production Manager. You will oversee daily operations, ensure schedules are met safely, efficiently and to quality standards, and lead the production team on the bottling lines.

The role requires at least three years in production or manufacturing management, with strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills. Experience in FMCG/food/beverage is desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in production/manufacturing management.
• Experience in FMCG/food/beverage desirable.
• Strong leadership, organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day bottling/production operations to meet schedules and quality.
• Lead and develop production team, communicate priorities and targets.
• Plan and allocate resources: people, materials, equipment.
• Monitor KPIs, downtime, waste, and efficiency; drive improvements.
• Coordinate line changeovers to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics, quality, procurement and engineering.
• Ensure accurate production records and system data.
• Maintain health and safety and hygienic standards across production.
