Job summary

GPC Finance is recruiting an experienced Bookkeeping Manager / Outsourcing Solutions Manager to lead a growing outsourcing function and act as trusted advisor to SME clients. You will oversee bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT, and reporting while mentoring the team and enhancing financial processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, management accounting and outsourcing in an Irish practice.
• Previous experience managing or supervising a team is required.
• Experience preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
• Experience with Dext and other finance automation tools would be advantageous.

Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Bookkeeping Manager / Outsourcing Solutions Manager to lead a growing outsourcing function. This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional with strong management accounting experience who enjoys working closely with clients, improving financial processes, and managing a high-performing team.

This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping and offers the opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of SME clients, providing accurate financial information, meaningful management reports, and operational insights that support business growth.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in bookkeeping, management accounting and outsourcing in an Irish practice.

• Excellent knowledge of cloud accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar systems.
• Experience with Dext and other finance automation tools would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Accounting Technician qualification, IATI qualification, bookkeeping certification, or relevant practical experience will be considered. A professional accounting qualification is not essential.
