Johnson Controls is seeking a BMS Service Technician to join our field team. The role involves on-site work at customer sites across Dublin, with hybrid working options.
You will configure, commission, and maintain building management systems, work with project teams, and support sales with pricing and design considerations. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in control systems, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or related field, and familiarity with Metasys.

What you will do
As a BMS Service Technician, you’ll represent Johnson Controls on customer sites, shaping the future direction of their BMS systems. You’ll work closely with clients, support project delivery teams, and identify growth opportunities for JCI business units.
How you will do it
Deliver assigned service tasks efficiently, ensuring high customer satisfaction
Configure and commission building control systems and network-level controllers
Maintain system documentation and modify software programs using established standards
Document service activities and create service reports
Promote safety and adopt a Zero Harm mindset
Support Key Account Managers with project pricing and design
Advocate JCI cloud-based and OpenBlue technologies
What we look for
At least 3 years’ experience in control systems as a service engineer
HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field
Professional certifications/diplomas in relevant areas welcomed
Working knowledge of Metasys systems (advantageous)
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical details to non-technical audiences
Computer literacy (MS Office suite)
Full clean Irish driving license
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to work overtime and join the out-of-hours callout rota
Additional Information: It is a mobile role, working on various customer sites around Dublin, Ireland.
