Job summary

Eurofins is hiring a TSMS Laboratory Technician in Ireland to support the client environment and perform high-quality analytical tasks. The role requires 10-hour shifts over two weeks, with a long week and a short week pattern, and focuses on cell culture and downstream activities with strict safety and quality adherence.

You will document work, maintain equipment records, and collaborate with diverse teams while ensuring compliance and data integrity in ELNs and systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in a scientific discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to manage laboratory tasks.
• Experience with laboratory-scale cell culture techniques and equipment.
• Strong IT skills for data entry, documentation, and lab software.
• Effective communication for collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support cell culture and downstream purification activities including equipment setup and media prep.
• Maintain lab equipment with routine checks, calibrations and reagent replenishment.
• Manage laboratory stocks and consumables to ensure day-to-day operations.
• Document work accurately and on time, maintaining equipment records and data files.
• Provide general laboratory support and collaborate across areas as needed.
