Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Ireland in Dungarvan is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Molecular Cell Biology Team. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses, maintain accurate test records, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in molecular cell biology or related discipline.
• At least 2 years experience with Cell Based Potency assays in GMP.
• Strong documentation skills and GMP understanding.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

Job Description

The main aim of the role is to carry out quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.

Qualifications
