Job summary

Eurofins PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a Process Science Laboratory Technician to provide lab support to the Process Science team within a client site in Ireland. The role requires biweekly rotating shifts (14:00–02:00 or 02:00–14:00 with a later 08:00–20:00 sequence) and adherence to customer quality systems and Eurofins policies.

You will perform equipment setup, sampling, documentation, and maintain a safe laboratory environment while ensuring timely project support and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant scientific discipline.
• DMP-regulated GMP experience preferred.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Proficient IT skills with lab systems and digital documentation.
• Clear communication, both internally and externally.
• Familiar with GMP principles, documentation practices, autoclave use, and sample management.

Responsibilities

• Support upstream and downstream process activities including equipment set-up and preparation of media/feeds/buffers.
• Carry out bioreactor sampling and manage sample submissions in line with site procedures.
• Perform routine calibration, maintenance of laboratory and bioprocess equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant laboratory environment and manage biosafety cabinets and hoods.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish materials, consumables and reagents.
• Complete documentation and training records to Eurofins standards.
