Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Ireland is hiring an Associate Scientist to support GMP-regulated testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products. You will perform quality control analyses and maintain data integrity across cell-based potency assays.

The role offers exposure to advanced assays, documentation in line with SOPs, and opportunities for professional development within a global leader in pharmaceutical testing. Weekend/on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree required: Molecular Cell Biology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience performing cell-based potency assays in a GMP environment.
• Strong GMP principles and laboratory compliance knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis accurately and efficiently.
• Complete testing and associated documentation in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
• Participate in investigations and root cause analyses.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and process enhancements.
• Maintain training records and competence within assigned testing areas.
• Provide training and support to colleagues where appropriate.
• Participate in weekend, overtime, and on-call schedules as required.
• Ensure customer requirements and timelines are consistently achieved.
