Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing in Ireland seeks an Associate Scientist to join the Biopharmaceutical Team in Dungarvan. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

You will perform routine and non-routine analyses, maintain records, and participate in continuous improvement while adhering to GMP guidelines and SOPs. Weekend rota, overtime, and on-call schedules may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of GMP experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• HPLC experience with exposure to biologics testing.
• Organized, accurate, and strong documentation skills.
• Good understanding of GMP.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
