Job summary

NeoDyne is seeking a BIM Modeler to develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models and coordinated layouts. Based in Cork, Dublin or Galway, you will work with civil, structural, mechanical and process disciplines across energy projects and support multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate drawings.

You will have 3+ years CAD/BIM experience, proficiency in Revit MEP or similar, and a background in electrical/mechanical construction within energy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CAD experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience with 3D BIM/Drawing packages such as Revit MEP, Plant 3D or similar.
• Experience with Mechanical or Electrical construction in the energy industry.
• Mechanical/Process/Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• BIM/Revit Certification.

Responsibilities

• Producing 2D and 3D (Revit) drawings from inception, taking inputs from vendors and internal design teams.
• Generating plans, elevations, and isometrics for electrical systems (as well as some mechanical and structural), including Design, For Construction, Shop Drawings and As Builts
• Generating other M&E services drawings as required, including SLDs, Network/Control Schematics, and P&IDs.
• Liaising with NeoDyne design engineers, construction managers, sub-consultants, and contractors for collaborative multidisciplinary projects.
• Acting as document controller for larger projects involving multiple designers.

BIM Modeler (Cork, Dublin or Galway)

NeoDyne are recruiting a skilled BIM Modeler to join our expanding Power Generation & Energy Systems team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed electrical BIM models, producing coordinated electrical layouts and drawings, and supporting the integration of electrical systems with civil, structural, mechanical and process disciplines across complex energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
