Job summary

NeoDyne is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Power Generation & Energy Systems team in Galway. The role focuses on electrical design for energy systems, with training provided for peaking, CCGT, CHP plants or embedded renewables.

Based in Galway, the position offers a strong salary and benefits package and a supportive, people-first culture. The ideal candidate will have a Level 8 degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD and EPLAN (or similar).

Responsibilities

• Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Producing drawings, wiring schematics, lists and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
• Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
• Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
• Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
• Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Commissioning activities in the field.

Position Summary

NeoDyne are recruiting a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our expanding Power Generation & Energy Systems team. Experience with Peaking, CCGT, CHP Plants or Embedded Renewables would be highly desirable but not essential as we will provide full training.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.

Experience & Skills

Required

• Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
• Experience with Peaking, CCGT, CHP Plants or Embedded Renewables would be highly desirable but not essential as we will provide full training.
