Job summary

Tandem Project Management Ltd. in West Dublin seeks a BIM Manager to maintain the accuracy and control of engineering documents, ensuring GMP compliance. The role requires strong AutoCAD experience and management of P&IDs, OEM manuals, and other critical records.

You'll support VTOPs/CTOPs and collaborate across engineering, maintenance and project teams. Experience with EDMS and change control processes is essential, with a focus on ensuring documents are current and auditable for inspections

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Technical Documentation, CAD Technology, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in a regulated industry in roles like Engineering Data Technician or CAD Technician.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and revising drawings.
• Experience managing engineering documentation including P&IDs, drawings, and equipment records.
• Knowledge of document control principles and engineering data management systems.
• Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with EDMS and GMP-regulated environments.
• Understanding of validation documentation and turnover package management (VTOPs/CTOPs).
• Exposure to major capital projects and engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, revise, and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Manage and control engineering documentation per site procedures and document systems.
• Update P&IDs to reflect plant modifications and changes.
• Render, archive, and distribute engineering files in various formats.
• Support management of VTOPs and CTOPs; ensure records are audit-ready.
• Ensure records are accurate, current, and accessible for audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, validation, and project teams to reflect current plant conditions.
• Support change control by updating docs after approved modifications.
• Perform periodic reviews to ensure GMP/regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing and improving document control processes and systems.
• Generate reports and maintain engineering data registers.
