Amazon.com seeks an MEP BIM Designer to design Mechanical and Fire Protection systems for data centers, using Revit to build and maintain BIM models. One of the best parts of the role is that Amazon has a global presence therefore domestic and international travel may be necessary. Team work is absolutely necessary for us to accomplish our goals. Working within the team, you will depend on others to accomplish the required work such as internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants including utilities, manufacturers, vendors, and contractors.
Daily responsibilities will include designing the Mechanical and Fire Protection systems of Data Centers, and utilizing Revit to create and maintain BIM models. You should be able to work with support and guidance within a team environment accomplish assigned tasks. This includes working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants.
As a BIM Designer, you will collaborate across disciplines and teams to refine data center designs. Your work includes creating detailed models, drawings, prototypes, and updating managers and leaders of changes to the building design. You engage in design discussions, review feedback from peers and collaborators, and adjust designs to ensure our data center solutions meet the highest standards of efficiency and quality.
