AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. As an Electrical Engineer on our team, you'll focus on designing robust electrical distribution systems that keep our data centers running at world-class uptime. Your day might include developing design specifications, reviewing and marking up technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams on equipment qualifications, conducting site inspections, responding to design inquiries, and presenting your work to stakeholders. You'll move fluidly between desk-based design work and on-site activities, ensuring designs translate seamlessly from concept to construction. You'll also have opportunities to explore new technologies and construction methods that could improve how we build and operate our facilities.
