Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is seeking a BIM Designer to design structural systems for AWS data centres, using Revit to produce and maintain BIM models. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver precise construction documents and maintain BIM libraries.

You will contribute to BIM standard enforcement, template development, and design coordination across projects in multiple regions, traveling as needed to data center sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities.
• Experience in the design or construction of data centers or critical infrastructure.
• Experience using Revit for producing structural engineering models and drawings.
• Experience using AutoCAD to produce architecture or engineering drawings.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams in a structural coordination role.
• Experience working with Navisworks.

Responsibilities

• Designing structural systems for data centers and creating BIM models in Revit.
• Work independently and with teams across internal groups and external partners.
• Develop and publish construction documents for structural building systems.
• Create and maintain BIM libraries, families, details, and components.
• Update and modify models and construction documents as required.
• Enforce BIM standards and assist in template creation.
