Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced BIM Designer to join the data centers design team in Dublin. You will design mechanical and fire protection systems for data centers using Revit, and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to deliver compliant BIM models.

You’ll work within AWS Infrastructure Services, contributing to high-availability data center projects across multiple locations while upholding BIM standards and AWS requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
• Proven experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical and fire protection systems for data centers using Revit.
• Create and maintain BIM models with internal teams and external partners.
• Develop construction documentation for MEP building systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Enforce BIM standards and maintain templates.
• Review consultant models to ensure AWS information requirements.
• Collaborate across teams across multiple locations.
• Record and report key metrics to management.
• Provide creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
