The Opportunity
GagaMuller is supporting the delivery of major mission critical, infrastructure, and data centre developments across Europe.
The Digital Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery and coordination of BIM, digital information, and technology-enabled project workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Design Teams, Contractors, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Schedulers, and Construction Teams, you will support multidisciplinary coordination, digital project delivery, clash detection, information exchanges, design reviews, and BIM deliverables.
You will also support the implementation of BIM standards, Common Data Environment (CDE) processes, and digital construction workflows, ensuring project information is accurate, coordinated, accessible, and delivered in accordance with project requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise across BIM, digital construction, project information management, and digital project delivery, while working within a fast-paced international project environment supporting complex data centre and digital infrastructure projects across the EU.
Responsibilities
- Scope & Delivery Management
- Coordinate digital project delivery, BIM models, and project information across multiple disciplines.
- Support BIM and digital delivery throughout planning, design, pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover phases.
- Manage and monitor digital deliverables against project requirements, programme milestones, and agreed deadlines.
- Coordinate the development and review of multidisciplinary BIM models.
- Carry out regular model reviews and support the identification and resolution of coordination issues.
- Support clash detection and resolution across multidisciplinary design and construction models.
- Assist with the implementation of BIM Execution Plans, project standards, information requirements, and digital workflows.
- Ensure digital information is accurate, structured, accessible, and suitable for project delivery requirements.
- Support the integration of digital deliverables with wider project objectives and delivery requirements.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with BIM Managers, Project Managers, Design Teams, Engineers, Contractors, Consultants, and Construction Teams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to resolve design, BIM, and digital project coordination issues.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews, workshops, and project meetings.
- Communicate model issues, clashes, information gaps, and outstanding actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate information exchanges between project disciplines and delivery teams.
- Support effective communication between technical and non-technical project stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across client, consultant, contractor, and project delivery teams.
3. Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify and report BIM, design coordination, information management, and digital delivery issues.
- Support the resolution of clashes, coordination issues, and technical discrepancies.
- Monitor compliance with project BIM Execution Plans, standards, protocols, information requirements, and CDE processes.
- Support BIM Managers and Project Managers in managing design coordination and digital delivery risks.
- Ensure digital and information deliverables are produced in accordance with agreed project standards.
- Assist with monitoring potential design and coordination issues that could impact programme, cost, quality, or construction delivery.
- Support the implementation of structured information management processes across projects.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain BIM coordination records, model review reports, clash reports, action trackers, and digital project documentation.
- Support the preparation of BIM dashboards, digital project reports, coordination reports, and project updates.
- Maintain accurate records of model reviews, information exchanges, coordination actions, and outstanding issues.
- Support BIM and digital project audits and quality checks.
- Assist with the management and organisation of project information within the CDE.
- Monitor digital deliverables and information exchanges against agreed project requirements.
- Support digital handover and asset information requirements at project completion.
- Contribute to the preparation of project documentation and reporting for client and senior project stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with Project Management, Scheduling, Cost Management, Construction, Design, Quality, and Commissioning teams.
- Support the integration of BIM and digital workflows with project controls, scheduling, cost management, and construction delivery activities.
- Use BIM and digital construction tools to improve project coordination, information management, and project delivery.
- Support the BIM Manager in implementing digital workflows, project standards, and information management processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery through digital technologies and more efficient workflows.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives relating to BIM coordination, automation, data management, and digital construction.
- Support the development and implementation of standardised digital processes across projects.
- Promote a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach to digital project delivery.
Qualifications
- NFQ Level 7 minimum educational qualification in an AEC-related discipline.
- Degree or diploma in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Technology, BIM, Building Services, Digital Construction, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of BIM processes, digital construction, model coordination, and project information management.
- Proficiency with BIM and digital construction tools including Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of BIM standards, protocols, information requirements, and Common Data Environment (CDE) processes.
- Strong verbal, written, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Strong understanding of digital project delivery and the application of technology within the construction environment.
What Experience We Are Looking For
- 1-2 years' experience within BIM, digital construction, design coordination, project information management, or the wider AEC industry.
- Experience working as a BIM Coordinator, Digital Project Manager, Digital Coordinator, BIM Project Manager, BIM Technician, or similar role.
- Experience coordinating BIM models, digital information, and project workflows across multidisciplinary construction projects.
- Experience with Revit and Navisworks is highly desirable.
- Experience carrying out clash detection, model reviews, design coordination, and digital information reviews.
- Experience working with CDE platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting BIM Execution Plans, information requirements, digital delivery standards, and project workflows.
- Experience working on Data Centre, Mission Critical, Industrial, Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical, or Commercial projects is advantageous.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams across design, construction, engineering, project management, cost, and scheduling functions.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve coordination and information management issues.
- Experience working within fast-paced construction and project delivery environments.
