Responsible for the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and digital construction procedures on projects for the office.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day BIM coordination across assigned semiconductor projects, areas, or work packages
- Support BIM Execution Plan implementation, model federation, information exchange, and digital delivery governance
- Run coordination reviews, clash detection, issue tracking, model quality checks, and close-out workflows
- Coordinate architecture, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, process, automation, cleanroom, utility, and specialist models
- Support constructability, access, maintainability, off-site manufacturing, prefabrication, and gap model reviews
- Maintain clear coordination records, issue logs, review outputs, action trackers, and agreed model definition documents
- Promote consistent model authoring, naming, data standards, and quality assurance across delivery teams
- Provide practical technical guidance to BIM coordinators, designers, and external model contributors
Education and Skills required
- Relevant third-level qualification in engineering, architecture, construction management, digital delivery, BIM, or a related technical discipline
- Strong BIM coordination experience on multidisciplinary engineering, EPCM, construction, or advanced manufacturing projects
- Semiconductor, microelectronics, cleanroom, sub-fab, utilities, mission critical, pharmaceutical, or similarly complex project experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, federated model management, clash detection, issue management, model QA, and digital information exchange
- Practical experience with common BIM coordination, model review, clash detection, and CDE platforms
- Ability to lead coordination workshops, influence multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of design interfaces, constructability, prefabrication, off-site manufacturing, access, maintainability, and quality assurance considerations
- Proven ability to take ownership, resolve coordination issues, manage priorities, and escalate risks appropriately
- Excellent organisation, communication, presentation, collaboration, and coaching skills
- Proactive, quality-focused, solutions-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced client delivery environment
- Ability to visit Arcadis, client, contractor, or project sites where required
