Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a CSA Designer to join a multi-discipline team delivering world-class designs for semiconductor, data centre, and other advanced facilities. You will contribute to feasibility studies, design development, construction documents, and on-site services, collaborating with engineers and designers across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has extensive Revit/AutoCAD BIM experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil/structural/building engineering or equivalent experience.
• Semiconductor tool install or Base Build experience preferable.
• Strong engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sectors.
• Experience in Civil/Structural design and equipment layout.
• Excellent English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of UK/EU design standards and international codes.
• Ability to interact with other disciplines, clients and vendors.
• Proficiency with REVIT in a BIM environment.
• 3+ years experience as Civil/Structural/Architectural designer.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D and 3D design tasks to produce construction documents with engineers and designers.
• Design Civil/Structural/Architectural packages in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and process disciplines to develop designs.
• Follow CAD/BIM standards and quality review checks.
• Provide technical support to engineers and perform quality reviews.

Position summary: This challenging position involves working as part of a multi-discipline, highly interactive and coordinated team focused on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data centre facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. Come be a part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world class designs for industry leading clients around the world. We design of some of the most complex and specialized facilities being constructed today. Projects for our clients include feasibility studies, long-range planning studies, and full design services including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and services during construction for design/bid/build and design/build projects. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with strong communication skills. They will exhibit a passion and desire to apply their professional experience and knowledge in a team environment on technically challenging and professionally rewarding projects. Our team is seeking a person who understands the importance of meeting their targeted commitments while being flexible to the ever-changing and fast paced environment of our clients sites.

• Perform necessary 2d and 3D design tasks to produce construction documents in conjunction with a team of engineers and designers.
• Under the direction of a Senior Engineer, design Civil / Structural / Architectural services packages in Revit & AutoCAD.
• Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines such as mechanical, electrical and process to develop designs.
• Follow quality and CAD/BIM standards.
• Provide technical support and assistance to Engineers.
Perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Civil / Structural deliverables.
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of diploma in civil / structural / building engineering or relevant experience.
• Semiconductor tool install or Base Build experience preferable, large scale industrial, skill sets: wet and dry, detailing and drafting
• Strong relevant engineering/design experience in industrial/advanced technology sector.
• Engineering/ design experience in the Civil / Structural systems
• Experience in equipment layout definition.
• Excellent English level – written and spoken,
• Knowledge of Civil / Structural / Architectural specific design standards (minimum UK/EU), with a understanding of the international building codes.
• Ability to interact with other engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors at all levels.
• Experience using REVIT in a BIM environment.
• The candidate will be a Civil / Structural / Architectural designer with 3+ years experience.
• Demonstrable experience / willingness to work as part of a Team
• A motivated self-starter with excellent inter-personal, communication and organisational skills
• Strong I.T. Skills with proficiency in associated software packages.
