Job summary

Global Professional Consultants is an established design studio in Ireland seeking an experienced Architectural BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of design and construction projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will drive BIM standards, coordinate multidisci plinary models, lead clash detection activities, and support 4D modelling and BIM best practices across projects, with opportunities for professional development and ongoing BIM enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
• 3+ years’ experience in BIM Coordination within architecture, construction or engineering.
• High proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and related BIM technologies.
• Experience with model federation, clash detection, coordination reviews and reporting.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, COBie, Dynamo, and BIM execution planning is desirable.
• Understanding of construction methods, building systems and project delivery processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; must be eligible to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing development of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects.
• Act as the key BIM point of contact for project teams and ensure BIM deliverables are achieved.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project models and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Lead BIM coordination meetings, manage clash detection processes, and issue reports with clear actions and ownership.
• Develop and manage 4D BIM models in collaboration with project controls teams.
• Monitor model quality and compliance with BEPs, MIDPs, and project BIM requirements.
• Support BIM software management, content libraries, templates, and digital best practices.
• Produce and contribute to project models and technical documentation as required.
• Collaborate with project, site, and health & safety teams to support project delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Support the implementation and ongoing development of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects
• Act as the key BIM point of contact for project teams, ensuring BIM deliverables are achieved
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project models, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Lead BIM coordination meetings, manage clash detection processes, and issue reports with clear actions and ownership
• Develop and manage 4D BIM models in collaboration with project controls teams
• Monitor model quality and compliance with BEPs, MIDPs, and project-specific BIM requirements
• Support BIM software management, content libraries, templates, and digital best practices
• Produce and contribute to project models and technical documentation as required
• Collaborate closely with project, site, and health & safety teams to support project delivery

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology is essential
• 3+ years’ experience in a BIM Coordination within the architectural, construction OR engineering industry
• High level proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related BIM technologies
• Experience in model federation, clash detection, coordination reviews, and reporting
• Knowledge of ISO 19650, COBie, Dynamo, and BIM execution planning is desired
• Full understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project delivery processes
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
• Must hold full eligibility to work in Ireland
