They're looking for a technically strong Bid Writer to join the team in Galway. This role would particularly suit an experienced Engineer looking to transition from site into a permanent, office-based Bid Writer position, combining technical construction knowledge with high-quality proposal writing.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documentation and develop detailed, tailored proposals.
• Write clear, compelling and technically accurate bid submissions.
• Apply a strong understanding of construction methodologies and programming.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Bid Team to deliver submissions within strict deadlines.
• Ensure all tender requirements are thoroughly reviewed and addressed.

About You

• 3+ years' experience in construction or engineering, ideally with a technical/site background.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good understanding of construction methodologies and project programming.
• Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable working to tight deadlines as part of a team.
