Job summary

Design Build Search in Ireland is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join its energy team within the transportation & infrastructure division, based in Kildare. You will take ownership of and submit completed professional bids to existing or prospective clients, delivering creative bid solutions in line with the growth plan.

Working with the Bid Manager, Estimating Team and Operations Director, you will gather data for PQQs, write and edit PQQ and ITT documents, and maintain the Bid Library

Qualifications

• Proven experience writing high-quality bids and proposals.
• Strong ability to manage end-to-end bid/tender process.
• Experience with PQQ and ITT documents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Bid Manager, Estimating Team and Operations Director to prepare bids.
• Gather data and evidence for PQQ submissions.
• Write, edit and submit PQQ and ITT documents accurately.
• Maintain bid records and the Bid Library for future use.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure bid quality.
• Demonstrate proactive, self-motivated approach.
• Knowledge of energy markets is advantageous.

A global engineering, construction & maintenance business has a new opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer to work with an energy team in their transportation & infrastructure division. Based in Kildare you will take ownership of and submit completed professional bids to existing or prospective clients; you will also produce creative and innovative bid solutions, in line with the organisation’s strategic growth plan. This process must be delivered on time and to the requirements of the invitation to tender.

About The Role

• Working alongside the Bid Manager, Estimating Team and Operations Director.
• Gathering data and evidence to include in Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ).
• Writing, editing and submitting PQQ and ITT bid documents.
• Keeping accurate records and help maintain the Bid Library for future use.
• A proven track record of writing high quality bids.
• Knowledge and understanding of the end-to-end bid/tender process and will be able to successfully
• Demonstrate a proven track record within a bid writing position.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and has a proactive approach.
• Knowledge of the energy and industry market will be advantageous.
