Job summary

Coffey in Ireland is seeking a Bid Coordinator to help secure major infrastructure projects by producing high-quality pre-qualification and tender submissions.

You will collaborate with design engineers, estimators and subject matter experts to coordinate technical content, manage deadlines and maintain bid libraries. This hybrid role offers long-term development opportunities within a family‑owned Irish company.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned pre-qualification and tender submissions from planning through to submission.

• Build positive relationships with clients throughout the tender process.
• Review, compile and submit high-quality bid documentation to tight deadlines.
• Maintain bid documentation, templates and information libraries.
• Identify opportunities to improve bid quality, processes and consistency.
• Support the wider Bid team and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

We're looking for a Bid Coordinator to join our experienced Bid team. As a Bid Coordinator, you'll play an important role in helping Coffey secure major infrastructure projects by producing high-quality pre-qualification and tender submissions that showcase our expertise and capability.

What you'll do

• Manage assigned pre-qualification and tender submissions from planning through to submission.


• Coordinate technical and non-technical content with design engineers, estimators and subject matter experts.


• Build positive relationships with clients throughout the tender process.


• Review, compile and submit high-quality bid documentation to tight deadlines.


• Maintain bid documentation, templates and information libraries.


• Identify opportunities to improve bid quality, processes and consistency.


• Support the wider Bid team and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.

About you

As a Bid Coordinator, you'll bring:

• Experience preparing bid or tender documentation.


• Excellent written communication and technical writing skills.


• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.


• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word.


• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and build strong working relationships.


• Experience within the water, engineering or construction sectors is desirable, but we also welcome applicants with transferable bid experience from other industries.


• A full Irish driving licence where travel is required.


• The legal right to work in Ireland.
