Muiríosa Foundation seeks a Behaviour Therapist to join our evolving psychology services. The post offers a fixed-term maternity leave cover with 75 hours per fortnight and flexible office base (Tullamore or Mullingar).
You will work with the Senior Psychologist and Principal Psychology Manager to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism, applying evidence-based interventions and person-centred values.
Muiríosa Foundation supports individuals (and their families) with an intellectual disability and/or autism to live self-directed, connected and fulfilling lives. Currently we employ over 1,700 staff and support people in Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Kildare, Tipperary, Kilkenny. We provide supports through the Regional structure and the Person Centred Wing . Each region exercises a high level of devolved autonomy across all major operational functions including residential homes

Role: Behaviour Therapist
Tenure: 75 [RC1] hrs a fortnight – F[RC2] ixed term Maternity Leave Cover
The successful candidate will become a key member of an evolving psychological services team led by the Principal Psychology Manager. The post will involve close collaborative working with the Senior Psychologist. The post holder will provide psychological supports to a broad range of individuals with intellectual disabilities, Autism and mental health concerns. The office base is negotiable – Tullamore or Mullingar.

Professional Recognition. We can support a suitably qualified candidate to work towards chartered status as a Behavioural Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland. Appropriate supervision is available.
